An award winning sustainable conversion of a Sunday school annexe to a former chapel into a house and offices for mjwarchitects. The space was opened up and a mezzanine added to give extra floor area and i contemporary, in a sensitive yet dynamic manner. Local sourced recycled materials, such as oak joinery and flooring, gave an affordable eco friendly office that with added insulation and underfloor heating has proven to be cost effective to run. Winner of the 2006 Green Apple Award for Heritage and Sustainability run by the
Green Organisation and selected as an exemplar project by the RIBA Sector Reviews 2006.
