LANSDOWN – GARDEN ROOM EXTENSION
Garden room extension to a Listed Building in Bath
This is a new garden room extension to a Grade 2 Listed Building in Lansdown, Bath. Whilst it took some time and persuasion BANES Planners and Conservation approved the new extension as the appearance and materials subtly blend into the Listed Building. With a well insulated base wall and solid roof with openable rooflights, a room is created that has good natural light and ventilation. Rather than an all glass conservatory this additional room is well used without the concerns of overheating or being cold.
