New timber frame and larch clad houses attractively blend into a woodland riverside setting.
The project consisted of seven houses, twelve apartments and an extension to the existing hotel. It involved complex planning, environmental and highway issues. Eco materials such as recycled newspaper insulation are used – it is so efficient, heating is not needed!
The sustainable design was assessed and achieved a ‘Very Good’ sustainable home rating.
