Planning permission has been granted from Mendip District Council for a new contemporary house on this perhaps restricted and awkward plot in Frome.
Possible overlooking issues were addressed by sinking the building down a level so it appears single storey from the street scene.
This contemporary one off house will be the focal point of the area, and doesn’t try to ‘match in’ with the many different unimpressive and dated styles in the area.
Building Control approval and tender prices recently received and construction work due to start on site in the spring.
