A contemporary extension to a modernist 1970’s architect designed house tucked away in a village setting.
The new glass extension ‘wings’ will provide an exciting new entrance and kitchen with spectacular views of the large gardens, that are open to the public under the annual National Garden Scheme. Most importantly it must work with the existing modernist design of the house, whilst adding a dynamic contemporary edge to the original design.
Planning permission and Building Control Approval have now been granted successfully from Mendip District Council.
Work is progressing onsite and is due for completion by early 2010.
