mjwarchitects are a small and expanding RIBA architectural chartered practice based in Bath and Somerset. We have the enthusiasm and experience to work on a whole range of projects, from small residential extensions to multi-million pound offices, in rural and urban locations.

Established by Michael Williams, the practice was formed when the directors worked in London in the 1980′s. Valuable experience was gained working primarily on large office and residential schemes for some of the UK’s leading developers and architects. Since moving to Somerset in 2000 we have completed over 250 projects and the practice has gained a reputation for creative design and its ability to obtain successful planning permissions and listed building consents on sensitive sites. Our success has been a result of our design approach, community support and planning negotiation. These strengths, coupled with our expertise in sustainable design and Building Regulations, enable the practice to be at the forefront of the energy debate and fully versed in all statutory requirements.
