An existing extension was replaced and incorporated into the remodelling pf the existing small and separate kitchen and dining rooms. The large chimney and wall separating them was removed to create one large family kitchen and dining space as the hub of the house.
Conservation rooflights, timber windows and patio doors provide extra natural light and open up the Edwardian house into the garden. A small and dark kitchen has been transformed into a large contemporary space that meets the needs of a modern family and satisfies the strict requirements of a Conservation Area in Bath. Required a good working relationship with BANES Council. Featured in a number of kitchen design magazines.
