Constructed in 1929, Bridge House is the change of use and conversion of the historic Wiltshire Working Men’s Conservation Benefit Society Building into a new contemporary art gallery and creative hub for Drawing Projects UK. The development was completed in 2015 and includes residential accommodation, an artist in residence studio, gallery, work spaces, cafe and educational facilities. Formed in 2009 by Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of Bath University School of Art and Design, Drawing Projects UK develops and promotes research initiatives in drawing, including the Jerwood Drawing Prize.
