The building was in a poor state having been redundant for many years until Frome Town Council wanted to regenerate the park using the restoration of the Edwardian tea house as a focal point.
The concept was simple – restore it back to what it once was and keep the design flexible so it can be used for many other purposes.
Work has now been completed and the Tea Room is now open again for tea in the park.
